Job Description:
R13 Recruitment are representing a leading manufacturing organisation, supporting their key search for an experienced QHSE Manager to oversee the quality, health, safety, and environmental initiatives, ensuring business operations meet and exceed industry standards. This strategic and hands on role will join the Senior Management Team and will have exposure/contribution to the wider business plan and initiatives.
You’ll lead the promotion of a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement, ensuring legal and regulatory requirements are met at all times. This requires a dedicated, positive and capable individual who can drive change and best practise.
The day to day:
*Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE policies, procedures, and management systems.
*Lead on cultural change throughout the organisation, prioritising QHSE standards and processes
*Implement policy and process, consequences and rewards to assure consistent adoption
*Work towards achieving best in practise results with absolute dedication and focus
*Manage all continuous improvement measures to enhance efficiency
*Lead internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with standards and regulations
*Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations, implementing corrective and preventative actions
*Deliver training to employees on QHSE topics
*Monitor and report on QHSE performance, identifying areas for improvement
*Liaise with external bodies, contractors, and regulatory agencies
*Promote a strong health & safety culture across the organisation
You will have/be:
*Experience in leading and championing change
*Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
*Driven approach to achieve goals and strength of character to assure wider team adherence
*Proven experience in a QHSE leadership role with focus on continuous improvement.
*Strong knowledge of QHSE legislation, standards, and best practices
*Exposure to contributing as part of a Senior Management Team to wider business objectives
*Experience with ISO certification processes.
*NEBOSH or IOSH qualified
