About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Laboratory Technician to join a leading food and beverage company based in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a scientific background who is passionate about quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
*As a Quality Control Laboratory Technician, you will carry out microbiological testing and HPLC analysis to ensure products meet required standards.
*Conduct organoleptic assessments to verify product taste, texture, and overall quality.
*Maintain accurate records of all testing in line with company and regulatory requirements.
*Support the HACCP system and food safety policies to ensure compliance.
*Work collaboratively with production and quality teams, sharing insights as a Quality Control Laboratory Technician.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*Previous experience as a Quality Control Laboratory Technician or in a similar laboratory role.
*Knowledge of microbiological techniques and HPLC.
*Experience in organoleptic testing.
*A sound understanding of HACCP and Food Safety principles (intermediate level desirable).
*Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a proactive attitude.
