Senior Specialist Occupational Therapist
Location: Buckinghamshire
Salary: £47,810 – £54,710 DOE (FTE)
Hours: 35 per week, flexible options
About the Role
We are working with a neurorehabilitation provider to recruit a Senior Specialist Occupational Therapist serving adults with acquired brain injury (ABI). You’ll lead OT input within a multi/interdisciplinary team, liaising with professionals, families, and service users.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide autonomous, specialist OT input in neurorehabilitation.
* Manage cases involving complex clinical and behavioural needs.
* Conduct evidence-based assessments, treatment planning, and interventions.
* Support service users in areas like self-care, productivity, and leisure.
* Develop, hand over, monitor, and adapt rehabilitation programmes.
* Collaborate sensitively with families, carers, and external agencies.
Requirements
* Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
* HCPC-registered.
* Minimum 4 years post-registration with at least 2 years in neurological settings.
* Proven experience in ABI/neurorehabilitation (e.g., cognitive rehab, upper limb rehab, complex dysphagia).
* UK driving licence and willingness to transport service users.
