Job Description:
Due to an increase in business, our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join their small, friendly team.
You will be working alongside a Conveyancer – and will be working closely with your clients on a wide range of conveyancing matters.
On a day-to-day basis you will :
*Assist with quotes and set up files for new conveyancing matters
*Issue clients with necessary forms and assist with their completion
*Apply for searches
*Deal with enquiries on sales and purchasing matters
*Diarise and chase matters as necessary
*Use the Land Registry portal to obtain Land Registry documents and Title Deeds as applicable
*Provide professional telephone support and email support to clients
*Work with third parties including solicitors, estate agents and lenders to progress matters
*Take/request payments from clients
*Prepare accounts for all receipts and payments
*Prepare files for exchange of contracts
*Prepare files for completion
*Deal with post completion matters
*Keep the case management system up to date
*Keep physical files up to date
We are looking for candidates who have been working in a conveyancing team for a minimum of one year.
Due to the large number of responses we receive it is not always possible to respond to every application straight away.
