We are currently recruiting for an experienced and commercially driven Air Freight Pricing Manager to join a dynamic and growing freight forwarding business based near London Heathrow.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for air freight pricing, procurement, and carrier negotiations, ensuring competitive and profitable rate structures across global trade lanes.
Key Responsibilities:*Lead pricing and procurement strategy across key trade lanes
*Negotiate rates with airlines, consolidators, and overseas agents
*Provide accurate, timely quotes to support commercial success
*Monitor market trends to ensure competitive pricing and margin protection
*Collaborate closely with sales and operations to align pricing with service delivery
*Produce pricing reports, market insights, and tender responses
Key Requirements:*Proven background in air freight pricing/procurement within freight forwarding
*Strong airline/carrier relationships and negotiation skills
*Excellent understanding of global air freight market and rate structures
*Commercially savvy with strong analytical and reporting skills
*Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
