SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Dudley, DY1
Pay Rate: £105 - 115
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm
Are you passionate about making a difference in children’s lives? A welcoming mainstream Primary School in Dudley is looking for a caring, committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.
You’ll be working closely with pupils who require additional support, offering tailored 1:1 and small group interventions to help them thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide 1:1 and group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD and speech & language needs
*Lead small group sessions tailored to individual learning goals
*Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt resources and strategies
*Help manage behaviour positively and consistently
*Promote inclusion and pupil independence across all activities
We’re Looking For:
*Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification, or relevant qualifications
*Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting
*A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A genuine desire to support children’s progress and wellbeing
