Science Teacher
*Location: Sussex
*Pay Rate: £168 - £260+ per day
*Job Type: Daily Supply or Long Term Supply
Reed Education are seeking Science Teacher available to start immediately for both long-term and short-term positions. This role is ideal for someone who is experienced in teaching the Science curriculum in UK schools and is adept at planning and marking.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
*Assess and track student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
*Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes student well-being and learning.
*Participate in staff meetings, parent evenings, and school events as required.
*Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the curriculum and learning experience for students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Hold a valid teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, or QTLS.
*Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level (KS3 & KS4).
*Strong classroom management and communication skills.
*Must hold a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for a new one.
