Key Responsibilities:
*Manage a diverse caseload related to possession/evictions, tenancy agreements, housing disputes, and housing disrepair.
*Provide expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of housing law.
*Draft and review legal documents, including contracts and agreements.
*Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings as necessary.
*Stay updated on relevant legislation and case law to provide informed counsel.
*Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
*Make legal aid applications and access merits of a case.
Qualifications:
*Qualified solicitor with a minimum 1-5 years of experience in housing law.
*Strong understanding of housing law, tenancy regulations, and dispute resolution.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Proven ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet deadlines.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and client management.
