An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Counter Fraud Liability Claims Handler to join a respected, ambitious and growing insurer based in central Manchester!


This role will see you managing a caseload of predominantly liability claims (with some motor) where fraud concerns have been identified, while also supporting the wider team by sharing intelligence and ensuring a consistent fraud strategy across the business.


The Counter Fraud Liability Claims Handler role:
*Handle a caseload of liability claims (EL/PL/OL) with some motor injury/hire claims, focusing on fraud detection and resolution.
*Analyse and share intelligence updates with the wider team to maintain a consistent approach to fraud prevention.
*Attend intelligence-sharing forums and communicate relevant insights to colleagues.
*Negotiate and liaise with suppliers of intelligence products.
*Provide training and guidance to claims teams where required.
*Stay updated on legal and legislative changes and share key analysis.


Skills required for the position:
*Solid experience in EL/PL/OL liability claims with a focus on fraud detection.
*Strong fraud awareness and/or counter fraud experience within liability or motor claims.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
*Proactive and organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage your own caseload.
*Confident working independently while collaborating as part of a wider team.
*Willingness to learn and a positive, target-driven work ethic.
*Ability to lead by example and take on complex, challenging matters.
