Field Technician
Covering Bury St Edmunds / Ipswich area.
Temp to perm
£13.22 per hour (equivalent of £27,500 on a 40 hour week)
Flexible shifts working between 7am - 6pm
Monday to Friday
Manual UK Driving Licence is essential
What you’ll be doing:
- Oversee daily operations at domestic waste import sites
- Conduct site and equipment checks, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high housekeeping standards
- Promote and uphold health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Sample and assess waste for compliance and report any irregularities
- Provide professional, friendly support to customers and site teams
What does it take to be successful?
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Be based around Bury St Edmunds / Ipswich area
- Flexible approach to working hours to cover core business hours
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working outdoors and in operational environments
The successful candidate will need good customer service skills to communication with effectively with Drivers and other people around sites.
