Job Description:
Occupational Therapist Salary: £31,049 - £37,796 FTE
Location: Yorkshire
35 hours per week
Role Summary: We’re seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join a specialist team in York. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing occupational therapy to individuals with acquired brain injuries (ABI).
Key Responsibilities: Manage and prioritize a caseload with supervision. You will assess, plan, and implement evidence-based interventions to improve a person’s self-maintenance, productivity, and leisure skills. You will work autonomously while under supervision. You will manage your workload, support colleagues, and help maintain a safe and secure environment.
About You: You must have a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the relevant professional body. Experience working with individuals with neurological deficits or acquired brain injuries is essential. Experience with specialist interventions, such as cognitive rehabilitation, is highly valued. You should also be willing to obtain a practice placement qualification within your first year.
