We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a fast-growing business based in Bishops Stortford.


This role offers fantastic exposure across the wider business and is a hands-on position in a fast-paced SME environment, where you will work independently initially and contribute to key decision-making processes.


Responsibilities include:
*Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss accounts
*Managing balance sheets and cash flow forecasts
*Developing and managing annual budgets and forecasts to support business growth
*Overseeing cash flow, accounts payable and accounts receivable matters
*Ensuring full compliance with UK financial regulations, including VAT returns and corporation tax
*Implementing finance processes and procedures


Key skills:
*You will be Qualified, Part-Qualified, or Qualified by Experience with relevant work experience
*Relevant experience working within a SME environment
*Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel skills
*Excellent attention to detail and communication skills


Reporting directly to the Managing Director and the Board, you will manage day-to-day finance operations, ensuring compliance at all times, and providing strategic insights to drive efficiency and scalability.
