Position: Residential Support Worker
Setting: 4-Bed Children’s Home
Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 per year (Full-Time, Permanent)
Hours: Full-time, including evenings, weekends & sleep-in shifts (rota basis)

We are looking for dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our experienced team at our warm and welcoming 4-bed children’s home in Eastergate. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity where you’ll play a vital role in providing high-quality, person-centred care to children and young people aged 8–17.
What You’ll Be Doing:*Building positive, trusting relationships with the children in your care
*Supporting young people with their emotional, social, and daily living needs
*Promoting routines, boundaries, and independence
*Encouraging education, hobbies, and healthy lifestyle choices
*Working closely with colleagues and external professionals
*Safeguarding the welfare and wellbeing of all residents
*Keeping accurate records and contributing to care planning
What We’re Looking For:*Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
*A calm, caring and resilient personality
*Ability to work flexibly, including sleep-in shifts
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills
*A full UK driving licence
*Willingness to complete training and achieve Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (if not already held)
