We are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive primary school in Bolton . This is a full-time Teaching Assistant role, starting as soon as possible, working alongside an experienced KS1 team.
Job Details: * Position: Teaching Assistant (KS1)

* Location: Bolton

* Start Date: ASAP

* Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, term-time only)

* Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience

Role and Responsibilities: As a Teaching Assistant in the KS1 department, your role will include:
* Supporting the class teacher in day-to-day classroom activities

* Working with small groups and 1:1 as a Teaching Assistant to provide extra learning support

* Assisting with phonics, reading, writing, and numeracy interventions

* Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment

* Being a proactive and reliable Teaching Assistant presence in the classroom

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will Have: * Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in KS1

* A calm, caring, and patient approach with young children

* Strong teamwork and communication skills

* A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

* A positive attitude and passion for making a difference as a Teaching Assistant
