Requirements*Full and relevant early years qualifications (Level 3 or above) with proven experience in baby/toddler care
*Paediatric first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
*Enhanced DBS check (or ability to apply)
*Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and safeguarding best practice
*Excellent communication skills with children, families and colleagues
*Experience of leading a small team and maintaining room administration (planning, observation, ratios, record keeping)
Responsibilities*Lead and manage the baby room, ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 0–2 years
*Plan, deliver and evaluate age-appropriate activities linked to the EYFS to promote development and attachment
*Supervise, support and coach room staff; ensure staffing ratios and consistent, high-quality practice
*Maintain accurate records (care routines, observations, development records and incident logs) and liaise with parents/carers daily
