Deputy Branch Manager – Industrial Recruitment
Location: Wakefield
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (dependent on experience)

An established and respected recruitment business with a multi-million-pound turnover is seeking a dynamic Deputy Branch Manager to support the continued success of its Wakefield operation. With a strong reputation for service excellence across the Yorkshire region, this industrial recruitment firm is known for delivering high-volume fulfilment with precision and professionalism.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on leadership role offering genuine autonomy and progression. You’ll work closely with the Branch Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, drive performance, and ensure client satisfaction across a portfolio of industrial contracts. You’ll be instrumental in shaping the branch’s future, recruiting and developing consultants, managing delivery, and contributing to strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the management of a high-performing branch with full operational oversight.
• Lead by example in service delivery, client engagement, and team motivation.
• Recruit, train, and coach consultants to achieve individual and team targets.
• Drive new business development and nurture existing client relationships.
• Take ownership of branch P&L and contribute to commercial decision-making.
• Ensure compliance, fulfilment quality, and alignment with company standards.
