We are exclusively recruiting for a Legal Counsel to join the UK legal team of a global financial services organisation. About the Role

As Legal Counsel, you will provide strategic legal advice across a broad range of areas including commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, insurance law, and corporate governance. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the UK and internationally, supporting business operations and helping to manage legal risk in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
This role offers exposure to cross-border legal matters and the opportunity to collaborate with legal and business teams across Europe and beyond. Key Responsibilities
*Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements
*Advising on regulatory and compliance matters relevant to insurance and financial services

*Providing pragmatic, business-focused legal advice to internal stakeholders
Candidate Profile
*Qualified solicitor with in-house experience in insurance law, financial services, or commercial law
*Strong understanding of UK regulatory frameworks
*Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
*Comfortable working in a global, matrixed environment
*Proactive, solutions-oriented approach
