Working from beautiful, modern offices in the heart of Ashford town centre, our client is well-established, innovative, and growing — and they’re now looking for an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join their friendly and professional team.
About the Role:This is a key position reporting into the Customer Service Manager. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, managing the full order process and providing exceptional service from enquiry through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:*Handling customer enquiries regarding stock, pricing, delivery times and custom orders
*Processing incoming orders and managing your own order book
*Liaising with internal teams (sales, planning, logistics) to ensure timely order fulfilment
*Monitoring orders to ensure smooth delivery and keeping customers updated
*Issuing order confirmations, proforma invoices and other key documents
*Supporting the external sales team with customer updates and service-related matters
*Dealing with customer complaints and escalating where necessary
*Developing strong, lasting relationships with customers
About You:We’re looking for a proactive and organised individual with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
You will have:
*Previous experience in a customer service or order processing role
*Strong verbal and written communication skills
*A confident, positive, and professional approach
*Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
*Experience using SAP or CRM systems (desirable)
*A team player attitude with the ability to manage your own workload
