CNC Turner - Skilled Machinist
Birmingham
£16-£20ph DOE
Early finish Fridays!!!!
Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30, Friday: 07:30 - 12:30
We are looking for a highly skilled CNC Turner to join our client’s team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced machinist to work with a business that values craftsmanship, continuous improvement, and employee wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
*Programming, Setting, and Operating CNC Turning Machines
*Working with Mazatrol, Siemens, and G-Code control systems
*Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings
*Producing components to tight tolerances
*Setting tools with a clear understanding of cutting speeds and feeds
*Performing boring, drilling, and threading operations
*Using precision measurement equipment (verniers, bore gauges, micrometers, etc.)
*Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
What we are looking for
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Self-motivated with a positive, proactive attitude
*Flexible and able to prioritise workload
*Commitment to continuous improvement and quality
Experience & Qualifications
*Minimum of 5 years’ experience in CNC Programming
*Experience with CAD/CAM is desirable but not essential
Working Hours
*Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
*Friday: 07:30 - 12:30
