Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (MLD Provision)
Location: Erith
Contract Type: Full-Time / Long-Term (Agency Position)

Salary: £101.40 – £110 per day
About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school in Erith, supporting pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about helping children with additional needs reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support pupils with MLD within the mainstream classroom and small-group settings.
* Work closely with the SENCO and class teachers to deliver tailored learning plans.
* Promote engagement, confidence, and independence among pupils.
* Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs and learning styles.
* Assist with social, emotional, and behavioural support as required.
* Contribute to creating a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (MLD experience desirable).
* Patient, positive, and resilient attitude.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to build supportive relationships with pupils and staff.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN experience, or equivalent).
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
