Job Title: Part-Time HR Advisor (Standalone Role)
Location: Winsford, Cheshire
Working Hours: Onsite | 4-Day Working Week, 20 Hours per week (Monday to Thursday, 9am–2pm)
Salary: Circa £40,000 per annum (Pro Rata)
Reed is proud to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Winsford to recruit a proactive and experienced HR Manager on a part-time basis. This role offers flexibility around working hours and is ideal for someone seeking a better work-life balance.
As the standalone HR professional, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering the HR strategy, supporting day-to-day operations, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who thrives on variety and autonomy, and who can confidently manage all aspects of HR within an SME environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
*Creating and maintaining HR policies and procedures, including the employee handbook
*Aligning HR initiatives with business objectives and operational needs
*Leading employee engagement and retention strategies
*Handling employee relations matters such as grievances, disciplinaries, and conflict resolution
*Managing recruitment from job posting through to onboarding
*Supporting and coaching line managers across the business
*Overseeing induction and training for new hires
*Identifying development needs and coordinating training opportunities
*Working closely with Health & Safety to ensure compliance
*Ensuring adherence to employment legislation and industry standards
*Collaborating with Finance on payroll and benefits administration
What We’re Looking For:
*Solid HR generalist experience, ideally in a standalone or SME role
*Strong knowledge of UK employment law
*Confident in handling ER cases independently
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
*Comfortable working onsite in a manufacturing environment
