We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to run a children’s residential home in Stretford. You’ll lead a dedicated team providing 24-hour care to children and young people with complex needs, ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding, support, and compliance. Key Details:
*Location: Old Hall Road, Stretford, Manchester
*Contract: 3-month temporary assignment
*Hours: Full-time, 36.25 hours/week
*Pay Rate: £ 40-45 per hour
*Driving Required: Yes
*DBS: Enhanced with Children’s and Adult’s Barred List
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
*Lead and supervise a residential care team across a 24-hour service.
*Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards and safeguarding regulations.
*Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and budget control.
*Manage staffing, training, and performance development.
*Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support positive outcomes.
Requirements:
*Registration with Ofsted.
*Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care.
*NVQ4 in Care Management.
*Minimum 1 year in a senior or management role within residential care.
*Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and children’s home regulations.
*Experience working with children and young people aged 10-18 with complex needs.
*Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
*Ability to work flexibly and travel as needed.
