A Japanese restaurant is currently recruiting for an Area Manager to work in their operations department in London.
In this role you will be responsible for managing staff, finances, sales, customer service, promotions, and compliance efficiently.
The candidate must have experience managing multiple locations within the hospitality industry, specifically in fast-paced takeaway and restaurant chains in the UK, especially in the London market.
TYPE: Permanent, full-time
WORKING HOURS: 9:00-18:00 from Monday to Friday
SALARY: £45-55K depending on experience, plus good benefits
START: ASAP
LOCATION: London (2days work from home after probation)
Area Manager Main Responsibilities:
• Recruiting, training, and supervising staff to ensure smooth shop operations (communication is key)
•Maintaining financial records and overseeing pricing and stock control
•Maximising profitability and setting sales targets, including motivating staff to achieve them
•Dealing with customer queries and complaints
•Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
•Preparing promotional materials and displays
•Maintaining good communication with colleagues
Area Manager Ideal Candidate:
• Experienced managing multiple locations within the hospitality industry, specifically in fast-paced takeaway and restaurant chains in the UK, especially in the London market
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management skills
