Our client, an established planning and development consultancy is urgently looking for a Senior Town Planner to join their Dorest team. The successful Senior Town Planner will have access to a variety of residential, mixed use, commercial and rural projects.
For this role it is anticipated that the successful Senior Town Planner will:
*Have a BSc / MSc (or equivalent) in an appropriate planning related discipline
*Be MRTPI qualified (or close to achieving this)
*Have demonstrable, combined public and private sector planning experience
*Hold a full UK driver’s licence
Duties:
*Preparing and submitting complex planning applications and appeals
*Undertaking planning appraisals
*Liaising with clients and local authorities
*Preparing reports and statements
*Mentoring junior members of the team
*Attending committee meetings
