Manchester City Centre – Office Based
Are you an Office Co-ordinator / Administrator with good knowledge, understanding and experience of Office Management? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment? If so, we have a fantastic new opportunity to join the growing team of a key insurer client in Manchester City Centre.
Duties & Responsibilities:
General Office Operations
*Supporting the day-to-day running of the office, including opening/closing procedures
*Meeting room setup and reset
*Managing deliveries and post
*Support event set ups
*Ordering and Managing Marketing materials
*Assisting with minor repairs or reporting issues to contractors
*Supporting office meetings/events
*Coordinating/liaising with vendors and suppliers as needed
Supplies & Equipment
*Monitoring and replenishing stationery and office supplies
*Basic printer maintenance and troubleshooting
*Organising storage areas and ensuring tidy workspaces
Team Support
*Providing general support to the Office Manager and wider team
*Assisting with onboarding setup for new starters
*Occasionally covering reception duties when required
Cleaning & Hygiene
*Daily cleaning of communal areas, meeting rooms, kitchens
*Regular sanitisation of high-touch surfaces
*Fridge clear-outs and kitchen tidiness
*Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies
Coffee & Kitchen Support
*Maintenance and top-up of coffee machines and related supplies
*Ensuring kitchen areas are clean, stocked, and functional
*General Day to Day replenishment of kitchen items
*Assisting with light catering setup for meetings and events
The role is a growing role, and the list above will develop and grow in line with the company and changes being bought to the office.
A truly hands-on role, you will be empowered early on to make decisions, expand your knowledge and understanding in your field and contribute to continued growth and success. You will relish working in a challenging, exciting and encouraging environment working closely with experienced and well-respected Underwriters, Risk Engineers and Analysts who will support you along the way.
We are looking for candidates who:
*Have a good grounding in facilities and wants to help run a successful office.
*Previous experience in facilities, cleaning, or office support preferred
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Friendly, approachable, and professional manner
*Ability to work independently and take initiative
*Comfortable using basic office equipment and tools
