BSL Teaching Assistant - Highgate
Are you looking for a new role working in a Primary School as a BSL Teaching Assistant in Highgate? If so, this may be the perfect role for you!
I am currently working alongside a Primary School based in Highgate looking to appoint an enthusiastic BSL Teaching Assistant to work with students who are Deaf or are hard of hearing.
The position is based in Highgate and will be a full-time, long-term position starting immediately ; there will be an opportunity to go permanent at the end of the academic year. The position is between £90 to £100 daily depending on your experience.
About the school:
*Mainstream secondary school with dedicated Deaf Provision for 11 to 16 year olds
*Nurturing environment with tailored education
*Small classes, dedicated staff, and a supportive leadership team
*Focused on student confidence, skills, and inclusivity
*Training and regular CPD’s provided by the school
The ideal candidate:
*Possess a Level 1 or 2 British Sign Language (BSL) qualification
*Comfortable supporting those who are Deaf or hard of hearing
*Can work from 08:30 AM to 4:00 PM
*Be patient, reliable, and nurturing
*Be able to trial and/or interview immediately
