Job Title: Senior Acoustic Consultant
Location: Bristol (Hybrid)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Excellent Benefits
A forward-thinking environmental and acoustic consultancy is seeking a Senior Acoustic Consultant to join its Bristol office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on diverse, high-profile projects across education, healthcare, residential, commercial, and performing arts sectors - where innovation and sustainability drive every design decision.
As a Senior Acoustic Consultant, you’ll combine technical expertise with creative problem-solving to deliver sustainable, high-quality acoustic design. You’ll play a key role in managing complex projects, supporting clients, and helping shape the next generation of acoustic practice.

Duties for the role of Senior Acoustic Consultant include:
* Leading and delivering building acoustics projects from concept to completion
* Producing detailed acoustic designs and reports compliant with UK standards
* Undertaking sound insulation, vibration, and environmental testing
* Working with software such as Odeon, CATT, INSUL, Cadna/A, and Revit
* Collaborating across disciplines to integrate acoustics within wider BIM workflows
* Mentoring junior colleagues and supporting their professional development
Requirements:
* Proven experience in building acoustics
* Excellent communication and project-management skills
* Knowledge of construction acoustics, design principles, and UK regulations
* Degree in Acoustics or a related field; MIOA preferred
