We are currently seeking a temporary Lecturer in Science (Dental) for the Buckinghamshire Campus. This role is crucial for providing high-quality education and support to our students in the dental science discipline. The position is available until a permanent appointment is made and is ideal for candidates with further education (FE) experience.
Day-to-day of the role:*Deliver engaging and informative lectures in dental science to further education students.
*Prepare and develop lesson plans and teaching materials in line with curriculum requirements.
*Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
*Provide academic support and guidance to students during office hours.
*Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the curriculum and student learning experience.
*Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications:*A degree in Dental Science, or a closely related field.
*Proven experience teaching in a further education setting.
*Strong understanding of the current curriculum and educational practices in dental science.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
