Job Description:
Our client is a world leader supplier in the film and television industry. We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Sales Progression Coordinator to help drive the conversion of initial enquiries into qualified sales opportunities. Working closely with our newly implemented Salesforce CRM system, this role bridges the gap between administration and outside sales roles and will be essential in ensuring leads are followed up, nurtured, and escalated to sales and technical specialists when required.


Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the first point of contact for incoming sales enquiries via phone, email, and web
• Log, track, and manage all leads within Salesforce
• Progress leads via phone, email and social media contact with customers through the CRM pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate data capture
• Qualify leads based on customer needs, project timelines, and suitability of products and services
• To convert leads into opportunities which in turn become sales
• Collaborate with technical and sales team members to ensure specialist input where required
• Maintain regular contact with prospective customers to keep leads and opportunities moving forward
• Liaise with internal departments (e.g. engineering, customer service) to gather relevant information
• Monitor lead and opportunity stages, generating activity reports and flagging stalled leads and opportunities
• Assist with the development of our CRM processes and suggest improvements


Skills and Experience:
• Prior experience in a sales support, sales admin, or lead generation role
• Comfortable using CRM platforms—Salesforce experience is a significant advantage although other CRM systems will be relevant
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive approach to work, with a natural curiosity and desire to help customers
• Ability to work independently while being part of a wider collaborative team


Desirable:
• Familiarity with the film or broadcast equipment industry
• Experience working in a technical or manufacturing sales environment
