We are working with an established and sought-after employer, an accountancy firm who are looking to hire a job opportunity for a Management Accountant, based in their Leicester office.
No prior experience in an accountancy practice is required — though it can make the role more varied, as you’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients. We’re looking for someone who enjoys the steady, day-to-day work this role offers, without the pressure of dealing with year-end accounts or tax returns.
You’ll become a valued member of an experienced, supportive team, working closely with business clients to deliver management accounts, VAT services, and bookkeeping support. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your skills in a friendly, professional environment while contributing directly to the success of our clients.
Responsibilities:
*Reviewing client accounting records.
*Processing accounting adjustments such as accruals and prepayments.
*Posting journals for payroll, depreciation etc.
*Preparing management accounts and information for clients.
*Be able to analyse financial information and discuss with clients.
*Preparing financial forecasts Preparing and submitting VAT Returns.
*You must be able to work to deadlines and be flexible to work with multiple clients of different trades.

Requirements:
*AAT qualification or greater, so ACCA or CIMA studiers or qualified welcomed too,
*Have experience in working with software such as Sage, Xero and Excel.
*Driving Licence and access to vehicle to visit client premises.
