Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Wickford, Essex
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join an excellent team in the Wickford area. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting business operations through efficient administration.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide day-to-day administrative support to the team and management.
*Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally.
*Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and databases.
*Assist with HR tasks including onboarding, maintaining personnel files, and coordinating interviews.
*Support finance functions such as processing invoices, managing petty cash, and tracking expenses.
*Order and manage office supplies and equipment.
*Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes when required.
*Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal departments.
*Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
*Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
*Discretion when handling confidential information.
Desirable:
*Experience in finance administration.
*Familiarity with CRM systems or project management tools.
*Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
