Bookkeeper

We’re on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. You’ll be instrumental in keeping our financial records spotless and ensuring everything ticks over smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing:
*Keeping our financial records up-to-date, managing accounts payable, and staying on top of compliance.
*Reconciling bank statements and sorting out any discrepancies that pop up.
*Crafting financial reports and summaries for the team to review.
*Helping with the nitty-gritty of month-end and year-end closing.
*Handling the Quarterly VAT Returns like a pro.
*Chatting with clients to gather necessary documents and statements.
*Daily bank and ledger reconciliations – making sure everything matches up.
What We Need From You:
*Some previous experience in accounting or finance would be great.
*Familiarity with accounting software like Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
*A good grasp of the basics: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles.
*Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Top-notch attention to detail and organizational skills.
*Strong communication skills – you’re comfortable talking with team members and clients alike.
*You’re a team player but can also fly solo when needed.
*You’re discreet and trustworthy with sensitive financial info.
