Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a variety of GCSE Tutors and subject specialists in the Weymouth area to provide tailored support to young people in the lead-up to their exams. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in students’ lives.
*Location: Weymouth and surrounding areas
*Subjects Needed: Maths, English, Science (other subjects also welcome)
*Hours: Flexible - from 2 to 15 hours per week per learner
*Start Date: Immediate opportunities available
Tutors often work with multiple learners, allowing for part-time or full-time hours depending on your availability.
About you: *Strong subject knowledge in GCSE Maths, English, or Science
*Experience working with young people in an educational setting
*Ability to tailor sessions to individual learner needs
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

*Support learners in building confidence, subject knowledge, and exam readiness.
*Uphold safeguarding standards and promote the welfare of young people at all times.

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
* * *Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people
*Experience of working with the GCSE curriculum
*Experience of working with learners with SEN/ SEMH needs

*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
