Senior Investment Manager
Harrogate

NJR Recruitment is working with a leading independent investment and wealth management firm who are now looking to appoint a talented and client-focused Senior Investment Manager to join their Harrogate office.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a firm that prides itself on building trusted, long-term relationships with its clients — providing discretionary investment management and personalised financial solutions tailored to individual goals.
The Role:
As a Senior Investment Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of private clients, providing high-quality investment advice and developing meaningful relationships built on trust, transparency, and integrity.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing client investments on a discretionary basis, aligned with their objectives and risk profiles
*Providing clear, professional, and proactive investment advice
*Maintaining and nurturing strong, long-term client relationships through regular contact and review
*Representing the firm with professionalism and integrity when dealing with clients and introducers
*Contributing to new business growth by introducing additional funds under management
*Ensuring full adherence to compliance, regulatory, and consumer duty requirements
About You:
We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:
*CISI Level 6 or 7 qualification (Chartered or close to completion)
*At least 5 years’ experience in discretionary investment management
*A genuine commitment to client service and relationship building
*Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex information
*Collaborative working style and a passion for professional excellence
*A strategic and analytical mindset, with the confidence to make sound investment decisions
*Available for occasional travel for some client meetings
