Job Description:
Experienced Assistant Accountant required to join a well-established and successful manufacturing company in North Sheffield with a strong reputation for quality and innovation.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, duties will include, but not limited to:
*Accurately enter financial transactions into accounting software with correct categorisation.
*Assisting in processing supplier invoices and payments, and help manage accounts receivable.
*Support with bank reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and making necessary adjustments.
*Reviewing and processing employee expense claims in line with company policies.
*Assist with payroll processing, including maintaining accurate employee time records.
*Assist with VAT return preparation and tax documentation under guidance.
*Support the creation of monthly financial reports, including balance sheets and P&L statements.
*Other ad hoc duties as required.
The person:
*Previous experience is essential!
*The successful candidate will be studying AAT.
*Good IT skills are required.
*Strong organisational and time management skills are essential.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
