The school supports pupils with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. Staff work collaboratively to create a safe, engaging, and personalised learning environment where every child is supported to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs

* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

* Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to support holistic development

* Implement behaviour strategies and support emotional regulation

* Monitor progress and contribute to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)

* Promote independence, confidence, and wellbeing in all pupils

What They’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Experience teaching pupils with SEND (or a strong interest in developing this expertise)

* A creative, flexible, and patient approach to teaching

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
