Job Description:
Paraplanner – Lead the Future of Financial Advice in a Dynamic, Tech-Driven Firm
A Rare Opportunity for an Experienced, Technical Paraplanner to Take the Next Step ??
An innovative and fast-growing financial advice firm is seeking an experienced, highly technical Financial Planner (Paraplanner) to join its specialist planning team. This is a unique role where, instead of reporting to a Financial Adviser, the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the firm’s advice processes and delivering outstanding financial plans for clients.
Salary up to £75,000 – hybrid working 2 days at least in the London office
This is a non-client-facing role, but one that offers significant responsibility, autonomy, and influence in the firm’s strategic direction. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, this firm removes administrative burdens, allowing its financial planning team to focus on high-quality advice and innovation.
The Opportunity
This is a role for a highly skilled, ambitious, and forward-thinking financial planner who wants to play a pivotal role in a game-changing firm.
Own the end-to-end advice process – Shape financial plans, develop client strategies, and maintain best-in-class advice standards.
Be part of a specialist planning team – A step up from traditional paraplanning, this role offers more influence, responsibility, and technical input.
Drive innovation – Work closely with the tech team to refine advice processes, remove admin, and improve efficiency.
Help shape the future of financial planning – Take a leadership role in developing new advice strategies and mentoring junior colleagues.
What’s Needed to Succeed
Client-first approach – Passionate about delivering exceptional financial advice and improving client outcomes.
Technical expertise – A broad knowledge across multiple financial planning areas, with strong analytical skills.
Technology-driven – Comfortable using tech solutions to enhance advice processes and improve efficiency.
Collaborative and open-minded – Thrives in a close-knit, innovative team environment.
Qualified – Chartered or near-Chartered (1-2 exams remaining), with at least 5 years of experience preparing financial advice for clients.
Take the Next Step
For a highly technical financial planner looking to move beyond traditional paraplanning and take on a more strategic, impactful role, this is an unmissable opportunity.
Apply now to be part of a firm that is redefining financial planning for the future.
