Location: Birmingham (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days home)
Salary: Up to £50,000 (DOE)

About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Underwriter to join a leading insurance provider, specialising in Property Owners and Casualty risks. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to take their career to the next level.
What You’ll Do:
*Underwrite new and renewal business within your authority limits.
*Build strong broker relationships to drive profitable growth.
*Analyse risk and provide tailored solutions for Property Owners and Casualty portfolios.
*Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service excellence.
What We’re Looking For:
*Proven experience in commercial underwriting, ideally within Property Owners and/or Casualty.
*Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
*Cert CII or willingness to study (funding provided).
*A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a passion for delivering results.
