The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Immigration Consultant to join our growing team. This role is office-based and ideal for a qualified solicitor, senior paralegal, or equivalent professional with strong experience in immigration law.
Essential Qualifications:
*Qualified Solicitor (with immigration law experience) or
*Senior Paralegal with substantial immigration law experience or
*Equivalent professional experience in immigration consultancy or immigration law practice
Desirable Qualifications / Attributes:
*Accredited by a professional body in immigration law (e.g., OISC Level 2 or above, ILPA membership)
*Proven experience handling complex immigration cases (visas, appeals, human rights, asylum, etc.)
*Strong understanding of UK immigration legislation, policies, and procedures
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Strong client management and case-handling experience
*Ability to generate or attract new business (networking, referrals, online presence, etc.)
Responsibilities:
*Provide expert immigration advice and support to clients
*Manage complex immigration cases from start to finish
*Liaise with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders
*Prepare and submit applications, appeals, and supporting documentation
*Keep up-to-date with immigration laws and policy changes
Requirements:
*Proven track record in handling a wide range of immigration matters
*Excellent communication and client management skills
*Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
