Legal Secretary
Location: Gainsborough
Salary: £26-38K DOE plus excellent benefits package
Key Requirements
We are looking for a proactive and professional Legal Secretary to join our Private Client department, supporting solicitors and fee earners in the Wills, Trusts & Probate team. To succeed in this role, you must be:
*Organised with strong attention to detail
*A clear communicator, comfortable dealing with clients and documentation
*Empathetic and professional, offering reassurance and care to clients navigating sensitive matters
*Discreet and trustworthy, handling confidential client information with integrity
*Experienced in legal administration related to wills, probate, and estate planning
About the Role
As a Legal Secretary in the Wills, Trusts & Probate team, you will play a vital role in supporting fee earners and providing compassionate, high-quality service to clients during key moments in their lives. This is a typing-heavy role, requiring fast, accurate transcription of legal correspondence and documentation. Your responsibilities will include:
*Preparing legal documents and correspondence with a high degree of accuracy and speed
*Liaising with clients by phone, email, and in person
*Supporting solicitors and paralegals in case progression and client care
*Managing files, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth office operations
*Upholding high standards of confidentiality, accuracy, and client service
