Assistant Management Accountant / Management Accountant – Leicester Based

Key Responsibilities
*Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts for a portfolio of clients.
*Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
*Prepare accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
*Liaise with clients to gather financial data and clarify queries.
*Assist with VAT returns, payroll, and other ad hoc financial reporting.
*Support the production of year-end files for external accountants or audits.
Experience & Skills
*Ideally 2+ years in a similar role.
*Strong understanding of management accounting principles.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Working Pattern
*Primarily office-based in Leicester, with flexibility for home working when required.
