Description
*Deliver clear commercial insight and analytical support for projects, process improvements, and investment appraisals, including post-investment reviews
*Evaluate investment opportunities and provide accurate financial data throughout implementation and transition to business-as-usual
*Partner with the Management Team to challenge and improve business performance, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions
*Design and optimise management information systems to enhance profitability and support strategic objectives
*Drive the rollout of self-serve reporting tools and champion data-led decision-making across the organisation
*Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts in collaboration with key stakeholders
*Track market trends and assess their impact on revenue, margins, and cost performance
*Produce timely ad hoc reports and actionable financial insights to inform decision-making
Profile
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with relevant post-qualification experience or QBE
Proven experience delivering commercial decision support in fast-paced or multi-sector environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
Excellent relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial systems (SAP desirable)
