As a Import & Export Clerk, you’ll be part of a dedicated logistics team supporting a high-profile contract. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for coordinating import and export shipments, managing diplomatic consignments, and ensuring all documentation and service levels meet strict compliance standards.
Key responsibilities include:

Coordinating international shipments across multiple transport modes
Managing customs processes and shipping documentation
Liaising with service providers and overseas branches to ensure timely deliveries
Handling sales and supplier invoicing with accuracy and speed
Investigating service failures and implementing corrective actions
Providing competitive quotations and customer reports
Ensuring compliance with UK aviation security and safety regulations

What you’ll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you’ll bring:GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (A-C grade)
Strong Microsoft Office skills and data accuracy
Up to 2 years’ experience in freight forwarding or supply chain operations
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Knowledge of Incoterms and international freight standards (advantageous)
Eligibility for UK security clearance
