E-Commerce Specialist Location: Milton Keynes
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 (depending on experience)
About the Company A leading tool and hardware brand based in Milton Keynes is seeking a driven and commercially minded E-Commerce Specialist. You will take ownership of private-label product performance across key online channels, using data, insight, and platform tools to grow sales, maximise visibility, and strengthen brand performance.
The Role As the E-Commerce Specialist, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of private-label products on-line. You’ll use platforms for customer feedback, and market research to drive improvements and ensure products are optimised for performance and competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities * Full ownership of private-label product listings across multiple e-commerce platforms.
* Drive sales growth and increase brand presence online.
* Analyse platform data and customer feedback to identify improvements.
* Conduct product and market research to support growth opportunities.
* Plan and execute optimisation strategies, including listing content, pricing, imagery, keyword use, and categorisation.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product accuracy and availability.
* Monitor competitor activity and marketplace trends.
* Produce periodic performance reports and recommendations.
Skills & Experience * 2–3 years’ experience in an e-commerce role, ideally with exposure to private-label or branded products.
* Strong understanding of online marketplace platforms (Amazon, eBay, Shopify, etc.).
* Confident using CRM systems.
* Competent user of Microsoft Word with advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, reporting, etc.).
* Confident using analytics, performance tools, and customer feedback.
* Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
