A great opportunity for a technical sales engineer has arisen for a leading manufacturing company who supply to various industries, including aerospace, oil & gas and defence.
Job Description:
*Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
*Understand customer requirements and translate them into manufacturable solutions.
*Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
*Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness of proposed solutions.
*Identify new business opportunities and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
*Provide accurate quotations and lead negotiations through to contract closure.
*Stay current with industry trends, materials, and machining technologies.
*Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings
Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
*Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or engineering within the machining or CNC manufacturing industry.
*Strong technical knowledge of CNC machining processes, materials, and tolerances.
*Proven track record of successful sales and customer relationship management.
*Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
*Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
*Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
*Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
*Experience working with clients in aerospace, oil & gas, or defense sectors.
*Familiarity with ISO standards and quality assurance processes.
*Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and business development.
*Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally.
