*Hourly Rate: £16.36 PAYE

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our repairs and maintenance service, specifically within the damp and mould/disrepair work stream. This role involves carrying out decoration, including damp and mould treatments, within both voids and tenanted properties
Day-to-day of the role:
*Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, scraping, sanding, or other means as necessary.
*Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to property walls, ceilings, and furniture using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
*Carry out treatments for damp and mould issues in residential settings.
*Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
*Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*NVQ Level 2 in Painting and Decorating or equivalent qualification.
*Proven experience as a painter, with specific skills in handling damp and mould treatments.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
*Knowledge of health and safety practices related to painting and decorating.
