Job Description:
Reed HR are working alongside large Public Sector Body based in Central London who are recruiting for an experienced Interim Learning & Organisational Development Trainer for initially 6 months.
This role is hybrid so flexible working is offered.
Purpose of Post
1.To manage and deliver Learning Organisational Development training programmes and interventions in accordance with the City of London Corporation requirements.
2. To contribute to the strategic direction and development of training to support organisational and departmental development plans. 3. To equip staff with the knowledge, practical skills, and motivation to enable them to fulfil their potential within the organisation
Main duties and responsibilities
1. To manage the planning, design, implementation, and delivery using a blended approach for Learning and Development requirements for the delivery of training interventions
2. To collaborate with the Digital Design Coordinator around digital content to support training programmes for learning programmes and interventions
3. To facilitate Learning and Development interventions/workshops for individuals and teams
4. To liaise with departments and managers to determine training needs and carry our L&D diagnostic work on
5. To amend and revise training programmes as and when necessary to support change in the work environment
6. To keep up to date with new Learning and Development technologies and methodologies and use this knowledge to inform the development of training interventions and events
7. To conduct evaluation of all Learning and Development interventions to assess return on investment and identify areas of improvement
8. To support the setting up of all training rooms in readiness for trainers and delegates and generally cover all associated work as required
Person Specification
• Experience of designing, developing and delivering Learning and Development interventions primarily for the development of people managers
• Experience of developing and delivering workshops and team interventions programmes utilising a variety of delivery methods, face to face, virtual and Hybrid
• Ability to develop partnerships, networks and excellent working relationships internally and externally to deliver learning development programmes and initiatives in accordance with organisational needs and objectives
• Ability to evaluate learning interventions and use this to inform the development of future learning events, programmes and initiatives
