Description
The Financial Controller will have a wide range of duties including:
*Manage and oversee all financial accounting operations, including the day to day finance, planning and reporting.
*Prepare accurate financial reports and forecasts to support business decision-making.
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
*Lead the budgeting and financial planning processes.
*Develop scalable systems, controls and processes within the finance team to support future growth.
*Lead the implementation of a new financial accounting system.
*Manage banking and investor relationships
*Drive acquisitions - from evaluating opportunities, building models, and supporting negotiations, to leading diligence and integration.
*Provide commercial insight and challenge to support decision-making across the business
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
*A strong technical accounting background, ideally with a training in practice and an ACA qualification (or an equivalent qualification).
*Proven expertise in financial management and a strong knowledge of accounting principles, processes and practices.
*Experience with M&A would be advantageous
*Proficiency in financial software and tools.
*An analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
*Strong organisational and leadership skills.
