Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Halifax – £40,000 to £43,000
Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a manufacturing business in Halifax to recruit a Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
Key Benefits
*Salary: £40,000 to £43,000 per year
*Structured working hours with early finish on Fridays
*Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:15pm and Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm
*Opportunity to work with a wide range of advanced machinery

This high-volume manufacturing business specialises in precision fabrication, lasers, welding, robotics and powder coating. They are committed to continuous improvement, lean principles, and a collaborative working culture.
The Role – Electrical Maintenance Engineer
*Carry out preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across machinery including robots, lasers, welding equipment and powder coating systems
*Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults quickly to minimise downtime
*Perform inspections, testing and calibration of electrical systems and control panels
*Support PLC, motor, sensor and drive systems, ensuring all maintenance activities are accurately logged
*Assist with project engineering and continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on automation and electrical optimisation
*Liaise with Purchasing regarding electrical spare parts and maintain accurate stock control
*Comply fully with health, safety and environmental policies on site
*Support mechanical maintenance tasks where electrical expertise is required
The Person – Electrical Maintenance Engineer
*NVQ Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering
*Previous experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
*Proficient with PLCs, drives, motors, sensors, and industrial control systems
*Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices
*Computer literate (MS Office, CMMS, SQL, databases)
*Experience with fabrication, laser or welding equipment beneficial
