Manufacturing Engineer (CAD/CAM)

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading precision engineering business who have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. The company operates at the forefront of high-performance machining, producing complex components for sectors such as aerospace, defence and energy. The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in supporting the production of high-precision parts, improving processes, and ensuring quality and efficiency across the workshop.
Key Responsibilities for the role - Manufacturing Engineer
* Develop and optimise manufacturing methods and processes

* Design and implement workholding and tooling using CAD software

* Simulate CNC programs to support production

* Provide technical support and process validation on the shop floor

* Produce SOPs, tooling sheets, inspection sheets and other production documentation

* Support continuous improvement initiatives and risk management activities

* Assist projects and commercial teams with technical expertise

* Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards

Manufacturing Engineer - What you will need to have:
* Experience in CAD/CAM programming and CNC machining, including multi-axis operations (Siemens NX)

* Experience operating a CMM and performing precision measurements

* Background in high-regulated manufacturing environments (e.g. aerospace or medical)

* Proactive, adaptable and highly motivated with strong attention to detail

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills

* NVQ or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing

* Proficient in CAD software and ERP systems

* Knowledge of workholding, machining processes, and measurement techniques
